Description

This standard lens is a terrific choice for both crop and non-crop sensor cameras. The lens is outfitted with two high-refraction lens elements and new Gaussian optics, which combine to eliminate astigmatism and suppress astigmatic differences. As a result, the lens obtains crisp images.

Comment

This lens is small and fast with super sharp results at f/2.2 and above apertures. From

f /1.8 to f/ 2.2 the sharpness is useable and at f /1.4 the sharpness is soft.  For best shooting results shoot at f /2.2 or above apertures.  This lens is lightweight and suited for nighttime city walks. For faster speeds and background blurring, choose the 50mm f /1.2.
